In this pivotal role, you will lead the development of detailed 3D models and drawings, ensuring high-quality outputs across various water treatment projects. You will engage with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives. With 5-10 years of experience, your insights will support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing AWC’s quality management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the creation of fabrication and assembly drawings
• Collaborate with internal and external project stakeholders
• Stay updated on industry best practices and technologies
• Mentor junior designers and support their growth
• Assist sales teams with project proposals and cost estimates
Requirements:
• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Design with CAD courses
• 5-10 years of mechanical design experience
• Proficient in Autodesk Inventor 3D and AutoCAD
• Knowledge of water treatment design principles is an asset
• CET registration in BC or Alberta is a plus
