Mechanical Designer Position at AWC

As an Intermediate Mechanical Designer at AWC, you will contribute significantly to the engineering design of systems for water and wastewater treatment.

Your role will require leading projects, mentoring junior designers, and maintaining effective communication with various stakeholders. Emphasizing continuous learning, you will enhance both your skills and AWC's quality management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create fabrication and assembly drawings for systems

• Act as project lead and coordinate with teams

• Mentor junior designers and provide guidance

• Enhance quality management practices and templates

• Travel for site visits and project coordination as needed

Requirements:

• Technical degree or diploma with CAD training

• 5-10 years in mechanical design roles

• Familiarity with the manufacturing process is a plus

• CET registration in BC or Alberta is desirable

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
