Mechanical Design Engineer

Position: Mechanical Design Engineer at Regal Rexnord
Elevate your design career as a Mechanical Design Engineer with Regal Rexnord in Langley, British Columbia. Work in a hybrid model while developing custom-engineered electrical distribution equipment.

In this hybrid role, you will design low- and medium-voltage switch gear and automatic transfer switch products within the Custom Engineered Products team. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, and Purchasing while ensuring adherence to quality and project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design switch gear and transfer switch products

• Review specifications and develop mechanical solutions

• Prepare mechanical drawings and technical datasheets

• Create manufacturing drawings and BOMs for production

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical challenges

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

• Proficient in Autodesk Inventor, Solid Works, and AutoCAD

• Experience in 3D modeling and mechanical design

• Strong understanding of engineering processes and documentation

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
