This position is ideal for a highly technical professional with a customer-focused mindset. The Switchgear Application Specialist will collaborate with Field Service, Engineering, and clients to deliver technical support, troubleshooting expertise, and improve service execution.
Your role remains essential in ensuring quality service across various applications while engaging in continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support for switch gear commissioning and maintenance
• Troubleshoot low and medium voltage systems onsite
• Develop and review Methods of Procedure for safe service work
• Partner with Engineering to enhance product performance
• Train field service personnel on technical aspects
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• 10+ years of technical experience in power generation
• 5+ years in commissioning and troubleshooting electrical systems
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and service management tools
• Willingness to travel for field support
