About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Chief Financial Officer provides strategic leadership for Inclusion Langley Society’s financial operations, stewardship, and sustainability. This role is responsible for shaping and delivering a financial strategy that supports the organization’s mission, ensures compliance, and promotes transparency and accountability across all financial activities. This role oversees finance, accounting, budgeting, risk management, and reporting functions, and partners with the CEO and the Board of Directors to guide long‑term financial planning and resource allocation.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and driven finance professional in the non‑profit sector. The ideal candidate will have over seven (7) years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in a non‑profit, social services, or health/community care setting. The successful candidate will also hold a CPA designation or equivalent combination of experience and education in accounting, finance, or business administration.
This role requires experience overseeing or integrating multiple financial operational areas (e.g., budgeting, audit, payroll, fund accounting) supported by excellent interpersonal, communication, and team‑building skills. An equivalent combination of experience and skills will be considered.
The salary for this full‑time position is $135,000–$150,000, supplemented by a competitive total compensation package. This position requires a valid, unrestricted Class 5 Driver’s License, Driver’s Abstract within 30 days of employment application reflecting a clean driving record, and a Police Information Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
