In this position, you'll underwrite and approve mortgage broker and branch applications, ensuring adherence to Tru Cooperative Bank policies. By maintaining strong relationships with brokers and advisors, you’ll contribute to growth targets and overall operational success. This role demands sound judgment, independence, and a solid understanding of underwriting complexities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Underwrite and adjudicate mortgage applications accurately

• Communicate lending decisions effectively to brokers and staff

• Strengthen broker and branch relationships continuously

• Analyze and resolve complex underwriting problems

• Ensure compliance with financial performance and audit standards

Requirements:

• Trade or Tech Diploma or equivalent experience

• 3 years retail lending experience, including 2 years in underwriting

• Credit Union experience preferred

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Expertise in Banking and Loans Origination Systems
