Analyze financial data for Pattison Food Group Ltd. in Langley, BC, using advanced Excel skills to support accurate reporting and decisions.
This full-time temporary Finance Analyst assignment lasts 20 months and reports to the Manager, Finance. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, interpret trends, and provide insights. The position supports month-end processes, business performance, and operational efficiency across Pattison Food Group Ltd.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare journal entries and resolve financial statement discrepancies
- Coordinate large Excel datasets and identify actionable insights
- Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual statement variances
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
- Support month-end processes, budgets, forecasts, and special projects
- Three to five years’ financial accounting or auditing experience
- Retail environment experience is ideally preferred
- CPA designation or equivalent industry experience
- Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
- Curiosity, organization, communication, and analytical skills
