Become a Surgical Champion dedicated to advancing surgical quality and patient safety initiatives. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to drive improvements that positively impact patient outcomes.
This leadership role involves guiding surgical practices at an acute care site through evidence-based strategies. You will work closely with the NSQIP Regional Team to identify improvements, review data, and develop annual projects aimed at elevating surgical standards. Your contributions will ensure enhanced care delivery and safety measures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with Surgical Clinical Reviewer on quality initiatives
• Analyze NSQIP data and reports for insights
• Develop one quality improvement project yearly
• Attend NSQIP meetings and ACS conferences as required
• Report regularly to Local Department Head and stakeholders
Requirements:
• Active Privileges plus CMPA, CPSBC Full required
• Completion of IHI Open School modules within the year
• Strong leadership and collaborative skills necessary
• Commitment to quality improvement in surgery
• Flexible hours for evening meetings and travel
