Support individuals in need as an Empathetic Home Companion. Provide companionship and essential oversight, ensuring clients feel safe and engaged in their personal space.
In this position, you will operate under the guidance of a Registered Nurse to deliver direct observation and companionship to clients. It is essential to have strong interpersonal communication skills and demonstrate reliability in all tasks.
Your role will significantly contribute to the comfort and happiness of your clients as they navigate daily life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide companionship and encourage client engagement
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Document care provided and any relevant observations
• Maintain communication with clinical supervisors regularly
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
Requirements:
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Ability to read and execute care plans
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision needed
• Strong communication abilities
• Demonstrate compassion towards clients with varying needs
