You will collaborate closely with clinical leaders and interact with patients and their families to plan and monitor occupational therapy initiatives. Key duties include executing treatment plans, evaluating their effectiveness, and updating patient records. As a mentor, you’ll guide students and contribute to departmental quality management, ensuring excellence in therapy practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments of patient performance
• Develop and implement therapy programs tailored to individual needs
• Monitor treatment outcomes and enhance service delivery
• Educate patients and health teams on occupational therapy
• Supervise students and provide professional development guidance
Requirements:
• Graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Registered with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC
• Eligible for Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists membership
• Excellent communication and relational skills
• Ability to adapt and thrive in changing environments
Contribute to meaningful patient care as a dedicated Occupational Therapist.
