In this position, you will perform vital duties including conducting initial screenings, detailed assessments, and creating personalized treatment strategies. You will also provide individual and family counseling while working collaboratively with community services to enhance the support network available to your clients. Your advocacy will be crucial in connecting clients to appropriate resources and ensuring their treatment journey is as smooth as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement initial screening and assessments for clients
• Offer therapeutic group and individual support
• Liaise with community agencies for comprehensive resources
• Maintain accurate client documentation and records
• Engage in team meetings and continuous education opportunities
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field
• Two years of relevant experience in mental health and addiction
• Eligible for professional registration
• Valid B.C. Driver’s License with vehicle access
• Expertise in harm reduction and trauma-informed care
