Lead meaningful recreational programs as an Activity Aide, focusing on men with brain injuries. This full-time role requires strong organizational and communication skills to effectively meet residents’ diverse needs.
As an Activity Aide, you will facilitate a variety of recreational activities that enhance the lives of residents. Your duties will include organizing outings, appointments, and therapeutic exercises. Strong interpersonal skills are crucial for maintaining relationships with residents and staff, ensuring a collaborative approach to care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and lead therapeutic and cognitive activities
• Record attendance and participation data accurately
• Set up events for special occasions and seasons
• Manage residents’ appointments and transportation
• Perform various related administrative tasks
Requirements:
• Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Valid driver’s license (Class 4 preferred)
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Excellent ability to communicate and organize
• Flexible availability for weekends and additional hours
