Position: Occupational Therapist for Mental Health
Empower individuals in recovery as an Occupational Therapist with Fraser Health. This role combines client assessment, group therapy, and community engagement to foster well-being and support.

Fraser Health is seeking an Occupation Therapist dedicated to providing specialized mental health services. You will utilize recognized therapy tools for client assessments and planning interventions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design group therapies, educational workshops, and rehabilitation programs tailored to client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Screen and assess client’s functional capacity

• Provide group and individual treatments for clients

• Collaborate with the team for effective service delivery

• Develop and coordinate rehabilitation programs

• Represent the service area in planning committees

Requirements:

• Current full registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC

• Two years' experience in community mental health

• Valid B.C. Class V Driver’s License

• Knowledge of psychiatric rehabilitation approaches

• Strong communication and leadership skills
