Join Monarch House as a part-time Occupational Therapy Assistant, focusing on children with autism and developmental challenges.
Your role will evolve through collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
As an OTA, you will apply treatment interventions developed under the guidance of a Registered Occupational Therapist, ensuring an engaging and motivating environment for clients. This hands-on position allows you to track progress while maintaining safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Communicate with families about progress and sessions
• Execute treatment plans using best practices
• Organize and prepare effective teaching materials
• Create a motivational atmosphere for the client
• Collect and graph data on client progress
Requirements:
• Completed coursework in Occupational Therapy
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant role preferred
• Current Standard CPR and First Aid Certificate
• Flexibility to adapt work schedule per client needs
• Commitment to enhancing client care experiences
