Utilize your expertise as a Clinician to support elderly clients’ mental health needs in a community setting. This position demands comprehensive assessments and individualized treatment solutions.
In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for assessing and treating older adults facing complex mental health issues. Your participation in the interdisciplinary team will enhance service delivery and include educational efforts for caregivers. Conducting outreach and advocating for clients are essential aspects of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and treat elderly clients with mental health issues
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members
• Document and maintain clinical information according to policies
• Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support
• Liaise with community agencies to optimize care
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Social Work or related field
• One year's relevant experience in a psychiatric or community setting
• Eligible for professional association registration
• Valid Class V BC Driver’s Licence and personal vehicle
• Proven clinical experience with elderly populations
