As part of a dedicated interdisciplinary care team, you will assess and implement therapy interventions for geriatric clients, ensuring they achieve their rehabilitation goals. Collaboration with families and community resources is key to your role, which also involves delivering education regarding independence and safety strategies. Your insights will play a vital role in enhancing service quality through active participation in program evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and provide therapeutic interventions for older patients
• Collaborate with teams to set personalized treatment goals
• Educate caregivers and clients on occupational performance techniques
• Maintain current knowledge of occupational therapy standards
• Assist in monitoring and developing operational plans
Requirements:
• Graduation from an approved Occupational Therapy school
• 2 years of related clinical experience
• Registration with the BC occupational therapy authority
• Valid driver's licence and vehicle access
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities
