Dementia Caregiver

Qualicare Homecare is looking for caring individuals to provide compassionate personal care to clients in Langley and Aldergrove. Working under the supervision of the Care Coordinator, you will deliver essential support including personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and cognitive stimulation for those living with dementia. Your ability to follow care plans and accurately document client needs is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate personal care and hygiene support

• Implement calming techniques for clients with dementia

• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with housekeeping

• Accompany clients during errands and activities

• Remind clients of medication and document care plans

Requirements:

• Experience in dementia care is preferred

• Must live in the specified local area or commute

• Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent is necessary

• CPR/First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain

• CRC for Vulnerable Sector valid for five years or willingness to obtain
