In this role, you will provide occupational therapy services to clients of all ages facing acute, rehabilitative, or chronic health challenges. You'll collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to set and achieve treatment goals. The position emphasizes independence, accessibility, and client advocacy while promoting safe and quality care through innovative strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments for functional independence and occupational performance
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop care plans
• Educate clients and caregivers on adaptive strategies
• Coordinate services with other health providers as needed
• Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities
Requirements:
• Full registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC
• Two years of clinical experience in community or home health
• Valid BC Driver's License and personal vehicle access
• Demonstrated leadership and teaching skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
