As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will work under direct supervision while accurately filling prescriptions and managing pharmacy inventory.
Your role includes both the technical aspects of prescription processing and clerical organization, ensuring a clean and efficient dispensary. You'll assist the pharmacist in maintaining stock and provide essential customer support, all while delivering superior service in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive and assess prescriptions from patients
• Perform data entry and patient information updates
• Fill prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
• Maintain inventory and check for expired medications
• Organize and file prescriptions and invoices
Requirements:
• Must be at least 16 years old
• Experience in pharmacy operations preferred
• Knowledge of drug names and dosages
• Comfortable with computer functions
• Ability to work in a team environment
