We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist

As a Clinical Pharmacist
- Educator, you'll play a key role in shaping the next generation of pharmacy professionals by:
- Leading pharmacist orientation, education, and ongoing professional development
- Coaching and mentoring pharmacists, students, residents, and new staff
- Developing engaging learning resources and education programs
- Supporting the implementation of new clinical practices, policies, and procedures
- Partnering with pharmacy leaders to identify learning needs and strengthen practice standards

A passionate hospital pharmacist who brings:
- Current registration with the College of Pharmacists of BC
- Completion of an accredited Hospital Pharmacy Residency Program
- Recent hospital pharmacy experience, including education, training, mentoring, or leadership responsibilities

Detailed OverviewThe Clinical Pharmacist
- Educator (CPE) provides support for the education, orientation and training of pharmacist staff in Lower Mainland Pharmacy Services (LMPS) for the majority of the time, in order to maintain standards of care, quality improvement and staff development. The CPE provides clinical and educational support to pharmacists and other pharmacy staff; plans, implements and evaluates educational programs; assists with the development and roll out of new clinical practices;
and provides staff with information on new or changed pharmacy procedures and practices related to orientation, precepting and clinical practice. This is done in collaboration with the Pharmacy Coordinator(s). The CPE consults, confers and collaborates with other healthcare providers regarding related clinical education, training and/or other requirements and gathers information for ongoing quality improvement and review.
