We are on the lookout for a Janitor who can perform both janitorial tasks and minor maintenance at our sports complex. The role involves keeping the grounds tidy, ensuring safety, and performing repairs as needed. An interest in continuous improvement and a proactive mindset are vital for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute janitorial tasks according to safety regulations
• Maintain clean and safe entrances and parking areas
• Perform seasonal maintenance like lawn care and snow removal
• Complete cleanliness checklists for all areas
• Assist with ice maintenance during peak operational periods
Requirements:
• High school education or equivalent is desirable
• Valid driver’s license is a plus
• Building Service Worker Certificate (BC) is preferred
• Experience in commercial janitorial work is an asset
• Availability for flexible hours, including weekends
