LCS Daytime Custodian Position

Help maintain a thriving educational space as a Daytime Custodian s part-time position ensures cleanliness from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm during school days.

At LCS, we value custodians who uphold our community’s standards in cleanliness and safety. Starting in September 2026, you'll play a pivotal role supporting both students and staff. Candidates should be accustomed to physical activity and have a background in janitorial tasks, while also being adaptable to emerging needs in the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and tidy classrooms, hallways, and common areas

• Address custodial needs and inquiries promptly

• Work alongside staff to enhance safety measures

• Utilize cleaning tools and machines properly

• Identify and communicate maintenance or safety issues

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Grade 12)

• Experience in cleaning or facility maintenance preferred

• Strong ability to work in a team setting

• Must be physically capable of lifting 15–20 kg

• Employment contingent on a criminal record check
