Become a Housekeeper at Renaissance Retirement Residence in Langley, BC, and play a vital role in maintaining a clean environment for seniors. This part-time position requires dedicated cleaning skills across apartments and common areas.
Renaissance Retirement Residence is seeking a passionate Housekeeping Aide for evening shifts from 11:00 PM to 4:30 AM on weekends. Your responsibilities include cleaning apartments and common areas while using appropriate sanitization methods. A First Aid Certificate is required for this role, and you'll contribute to the happiness of residents by creating a clean and comfortable living space.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and sanitize apartments and common areas daily
• Operate floor care machines and steam cleaners
• Strip, scrub, and buff all floor surfaces
• Pick up garbage and dispose of it properly
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings
Requirements:
• Good communication skills in English
• Experience in cleaning techniques and procedures
• Ability to work independently
• Must provide a Vulnerable Sector Check
• Previous commercial or healthcare cleaning experience preferred
