Lead the way in ice operations as the Ice Rink Operations Manager at Canlan Sports. This hands-on role focuses on effective ice maintenance, staff training, and operational efficiency.
As a key member of Canlan Sports' management team, you will oversee all aspects of facility building maintenance and ice production at one of North America's leading recreational sports complexes. Your leadership will ensure safety standards, compliance, and excellence in service. Key areas include supervising staff, managing budgets, and coordinating ice maintenance schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and develop operational staff and training programs
• Ensure Health and Safety Standards compliance
• Coordinate major ice maintenance schedules
• Troubleshoot non-routine issues swiftly
• Maintain company assets on the FAME database
Requirements:
• Valid Refrigerator Operator Certificate required
• 2-3 years' experience supervising teams
• 3-4 years' experience in ice maintenance
• Strong communication and computer skills
• Knowledge of HVAC operation and facility maintenance
