Location: City of Langley
Lead the Disability Intervention Services team at Canada Life in a permanent full-time role. Supervise, coach, and support Rehabilitation Consultants to ensure quality service delivery.
The Team Manager will oversee the effectiveness and cost efficiency of the Rehabilitation and Medical Consultants' services. This position involves conducting performance management, coaching staff, and facilitating recruitment, orientation, and ongoing training. You will act as a technical expert, ensuring plans are cost-effective while maintaining adherence to Canada Life's philosophy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily operations of Rehabilitation Consultants
• Coach and manage team performance
• Recruit and develop new staff through training
• Assess ongoing staff development needs
• Ensure compliance with organizational claims practices
Requirements:
• Degree in rehabilitation counseling or experience in disability management
• 5-7 years in insurance rehabilitation or disability management
• CCRC or RRP designation (or pursuing)
• Proven leadership and communication skills
• Reliability Status security clearance
