GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
As directed by Shift Supervisor, responsible for the flow of raw materials and finished/semi-finished goods into and out of the production area/ mezzanine. Must also be fully familiar with all Work order packaging documents and productions data collection forms. Perform all Operator and Utility handler duties. Must ensure that Safety and quality procedures are followed and maintained in all areas.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.Must be a licensed qualified forklift/electric pallet jack operator.Must be prepared to work in a co-operative environment.Must possess Utility handler skills.Must be willing and physically able to fulfill the job requirementSPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Materials handler
Working knowledge of mold tech set up, and resin supply systemUnderstanding of work order, mold tech change forms and packaging documents.Color changes complete with minimal scrap document KPI per colour change formsBreak coverage set up and minimizing down time.Rail car hook up per processSilo system understand metering systemRegrind silo/ usage per Injection molding machine requirementsOperations processes and data tracking proceduresAuxiliary equipment, hot stampers, gasket installers functions.Shop Logix code enteringMII label printing processSafety
Responsible to bring forward with continuous improvement initiatives to improve orientating and retaining new employees.Coaching team members on safety policy, and infraction documentation.Accountable to identify and bring forward to either Shift Supervisor and/or Operations Manager improvement opportunities.Quality
Ensures operational quality related process are maintainedCoach team members on Quality process.Pay:
The range for this position is $20.48 – 34.64 per hour. Exact salary offered will depend on candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and work location.
