Welder Fitter

We are looking for an experienced Welder / Fitter to join our team in Utopia, ON. Under the direction of a Production Supervisor, this position will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, fitting, and installing steel and/or other metal components for our infrastructure products according to engineered drawings and blueprints.

• Setup and use of Mig, plasma, torch, grinder, drill, iron worker, transit, etc.
• Fitting and fabrication of new formwork
• Repair and service of existing formwork
• Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Work effectively on a team as well as on an individual basis while maintaining tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Maintenance of equipment in a condition that follows proper LOTO procedures in accordance with our Health and Safety Policy/Procedure and the OHSA

• Strong mechanical skill required.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Overhead crane and rigging experience
• CWB Ticket required.
• 4 years minimum experience
• Skilled in the use of MIG, Stick, all positions
• Able to use wide variety of hand tools and equipment.

• The range of pay for this position is $33.90 - $40.20 per hour
