Make an impact as a Casthouse Manager at a new aluminum manufacturing site in British Columbia. Oversee production processes and build a strong operational team for continuous manufacturing.
Our client seeks a hands-on leader with casthouse expertise to guide their new aluminum billet casting operation. This role is pivotal in establishing processes and enhancing production for a 24/7 schedule. Your commercial acumen and team leadership will be crucial in driving success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead daily casthouse operations from melting to delivery
• Build and train teams for multi-shift production schedules
• Focus on safe, efficient production and quality metrics
• Implement and standardize operating procedures
• Optimize all aspects of casting and processing operations
Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years in aluminum casting or related manufacturing
• Strong background in melting, alloying, and operations
• Proven track record in leading successful production teams
• Ability to balance technical and operational decision-making
• Safety-oriented with a keen eye for process improvement
