Operate mill machinery in Langley, British Columbia, using mechanical aptitude and forklift experience to produce quality livestock premixes. Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm.
Grand Valley Fortifiers is seeking a Production Worker-Mill Operator for its production team. You will operate manufacturing equipment, sequence mill routing, complete hand-add batching, and load macro and micro bins. The position supports premix production for swine, dairy, beef, and poultry producers.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate mills and manufacturing equipment according to procedures
- Complete mill routing, sequencing, and hand-add batch additives
- Conduct quality checks against established product specifications
- Receive bulk ingredients and maintain stock levels
- Load finished goods onto customer vehicles and trucks
- High school diploma and one to three years’ related experience
- Lift-truck operator experience and strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift 30 kilograms without restriction
- Technical reading, computer, communication, and organizational skills
- Independent work, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
