Location: City of Langley
Accurately weigh spices and monitor quality as a Spice Room Employee supporting production from Monday to Friday, 5:15 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this Spice Room Employee supports spiced-product production. The work requires accurate ingredient measurement, batch preparation, quality assessment, and food safety monitoring. You will use the ROSS ERP system while meeting production, customer, HACCP, and SQF requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Weigh and measure spice room ingredients accurately and efficiently
- Prepare correct spice batches for production runs
- Verify ingredients meet quality standards before measuring
- Monitor and record critical food safety inspections
- Report food safety or quality issues to the supervisor
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Product knowledge including quality measures
- Ability to assess products against quality requirements
- Ability to lift up to 44 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, and repeat hand movements
