Communications Director

Position: Trinity Western University Communications Director
Serve as the Director of Strategic Communications at Trinity Western University, enhancing visibility and reputation through innovative strategies. This role focuses on linking communication efforts with the overall mission and distinct values of the University.

You will lead the communications team in executing strategic plans that engage internal and external stakeholders by developing consistent messaging that resonates across various platforms. Your main goal will be to safeguard the University’s brand while ensuring clarity in communication during crises.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop strategic communication initiatives

• Establish crisis communication protocols and risk management

• Craft narratives that embody the University’s mission

• Build and maintain media and stakeholder relationships

• Oversee key publications and events that represent the University

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Communications or similar area

• 7 years of managerial experience

• 5 years in a strategic communication role

• Outstanding leadership and problem-solving skills

• Capacity to thrive under stress and provide direction
