Pursue a rewarding career as a Communications Coordinator with the Township of Langley. As a key part of the team, focus on marketing strategies and community engagement in a full-time role.
This position reports directly to the Manager, Communications, and offers the chance to support various marketing projects, including developing campaigns and managing public relations. You will engage with clients while keeping current on communications trends and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategically guide internal clients in communication efforts
• Coordinate and lead marketing strategies and public campaigns
• Develop content for social media and municipal webpages
• Handle public inquiries through various media channels
• Participate in ongoing engagement activities and initiatives
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or similar
• In-depth knowledge of communication and marketing techniques
• Familiarity with digital marketing and public engagement tools
• Proven ability to maintain professional relationships
• Must possess a valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License and record
