Contribute to resident care as a Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse at Chartwell Retirement Residences in Langley, BC. This role involves providing treatments, medication, and support for seniors during night shifts.
In this permanent part-time position, you will work three nights a week from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. You'll be responsible for assessments, personal care, and effective communication with residents and families. Deliver high-quality services consistent with organizational standards while maintaining a strong focus on empathy and resident well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide basic assessments and treatment for residents
• Administer medications within scope of practice
• Communicate resident needs to families and staff
• Document health status and incidents in records
• Support housekeeping and infection control measures
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited LPN Program
• Valid LPN registration with relevant associations
• Knowledge of geriatric and long-term nursing
• Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
• Appreciation for seniors and their needs
