Fraser Health is looking for qualified Registered Nurses to rotate through specialty nursing units. You'll assess, plan, and evaluate patient care while engaging in postgraduate specialty coursework. This role emphasizes person-centered care and collaboration with both patients and their families, ensuring effective and empathetic support throughout the care process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patients and gather comprehensive health information
• Collaborate with families to develop impactful care plans
• Coordinate nursing care and delegate tasks to support staff
• Teach patients about health maintenance and illness prevention
• Document all nursing assessments and patient interactions
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current registration with BCCNM as a Registered Nurse
• Completion of post graduate specialty nursing course/program
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
