Join Chartwell Retirement Residences as a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse. Support residents with compassionate care and ensure a secure and healthy living environment.
This role involves a combination of morning and evening shifts, focusing on delivering personal care, administering medications, and performing assessments. Candidates should have a background in geriatric nursing and demonstrate strong customer service and conflict resolution skills. The LPN will play a vital role in fostering resident involvement with families and maintaining high-quality service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer medications and perform nursing assessments
• Provide personal care and support to residents
• Communicate with families regarding care needs
• Document health status and care services accurately
• Carry out housekeeping and infection control duties
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited LPN program
• Hold a valid registration with LPN associations
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Empathetic approach to senior care
• Customer service and conflict resolution skills
