In this Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse role, you will engage directly with clients, performing assessments and facilitating group therapies. The position offers ongoing professional development and encourages a person-centered approach in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing care to clients with substance use challenges
• Conduct thorough mental health and substance use assessments
• Develop risk management and safety protocols
• Educate clients and families on health promotion
• Participate in program development and delivery
Requirements:
• RN or RPN credential recognized by BCCNM
• Background in addiction treatment preferred
• Skills in group therapy facilitation
• Proven ability to assess and intervene in crises
• Capable of managing detailed clinical documentation
