Position: Langley Memorial Perinatal Nurse Role
Become a part of the dynamic MICY team at Langley Memorial Hospital as a Relief Full Time Registered Nurse, specializing in Perinatal care. Provide essential nursing assessments and develop collaborative care plans for patients.

As a key member of the healthcare team, you will use your clinical expertise to support mothers and newborns. This role includes conducting assessments, coordinating care, and educating families on health practices. Your involvement directly enhances patient outcomes and experiences during this critical phase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough nursing assessments on admissions

• Coordinate and modify care plans with team members

• Facilitate patient education and self-care instruction

• Document all interventions and patient responses

• Participate in risk management and quality improvement

Requirements:

• Approved nursing program graduate

• Active registration with BCCNM

• One year of clinical experience in perinatal nursing

• Certification in NRP and Basic Rescuer required

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
