In this vital position, you will coordinate nursing support for children and youth with special needs, applying your nursing expertise to assess individual health requirements and devise care plans. You will facilitate caregiver training and monitor compliance with established care practices.
Your role involves working closely with families, health professionals, and community partners to ensure holistic care is delivered to clients in various settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments for service eligibility
• Develop and implement individualized health care strategies
• Delegate and oversee nursing tasks for non-nurse caregivers
• Convene with multidisciplinary teams for optimal client care
• Monitor statistical data and service effectiveness
Requirements:
• Active RN registration with BCCNM
• Minimum three years of related clinical experience
• Experience with pediatric care is essential
• Valid Class V BC Driver's Licence needed
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
