The role focuses on person-centered care within a supportive environment. You will coordinate treatment plans, conduct mental health assessments, and administer medications. Strong collaboration with the healthcare team will enable effective treatment interventions and promote client well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate care with the interprofessional healthcare team
• Conduct mental health assessments and develop treatment plans
• Provide nursing care, including ADLs and medication administration
• Engage clients using motivational interviewing techniques
• Promote self-care and empower clients for improved quality of life
Requirements:
• Graduation from an approved Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing program
• Minimum two years of experience with mental health disorders
• Current registration with BCCNM
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver's Licence
• Strong communication and crisis intervention skills
