Become a Nursing Services Coordinator at Fraser Health. This role supports children with special needs, focusing on their health care in educational environments through dedicated assessment and planning.
As a Coordinator within the Nursing Support Services team, you will assess, train, and coordinate care for children from birth to 19 years old. By collaborating with families and the healthcare team, you will ensure tailored services that reflect the needs of each child while adhering to Fraser Health's standards and values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate incoming referrals and perform eligibility assessments
• Formulate child-specific health care strategies
• Lead training sessions for non-nurse caregivers
• Collaborate within an inter-professional care framework
• Document nursing observations and care plans accurately
Requirements:
• Current RN registration under BCCNM
• Minimum three years of relevant clinical experience
• Experience with pediatric patients preferred
• Valid Class V BC Driver's Licence
• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities
