This position requires providing direct nursing care in an emergency setting while enhancing patient involvement in their care plans. You will work alongside a diverse team to implement nursing interventions, educate patients on health matters, and ensure successful discharge planning through effective collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments
• Develop and implement tailored nursing interventions
• Collaborate with care teams to establish comprehensive care
• Teach patients and families about health maintenance
• Participate in nursing committees and quality improvement
Requirements:
• Completion of an approved Nursing program
• Registration as a Registered Nurse with BCCNM
• Emergency specialty post-graduate coursework desirable
• Proven ability to communicate with diverse populations
• Physical readiness for nursing duties
