As a Site Access Coordinator, you will manage the flow of patient placements and oversee transfer activities, working closely with healthcare teams to ensure optimal resource utilization. Your experience in nursing leadership and patient care will be valuable as you contribute to Fraser Health’s mission of delivering better healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate urgent patient placements at healthcare facilities
• Coordinate team meetings to address bed availability
• Supervise staff and make clinical decisions post-hours
• Draft and evaluate patient access policies with the team
• Monitor quality improvement initiatives in patient care
Requirements:
• Active registration as a Registered Nurse in B.C.
• Five years of clinical nursing experience required
• Proven leadership in health care environments
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to foster collaborative team relationships
