Candidates must have a current nursing registration and a minimum of two years relevant clinical experience. Your responsibilities will include assessing surgical patients, planning and providing nursing interventions, and educating patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preadmission screenings for surgical candidates

• Assess and collect patient information effectively

• Plan and evaluate nursing interventions

• Prepare patients for diagnostic tests

• Coordinate care with an interprofessional team

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing

• Current registration with BCCNM

• Two years of relevant clinical experience

• Completion of post-graduate coursework desirable

• Strong clinical and communication skills
