Be a vital part of patient recovery at Fraser Health as a Registered Nurse in the Post Anaesthetic Care Unit at Langley Memorial Hospital. This part-time role is designed for entry-level nurses passionate about patient care.
In this role, you'll engage in comprehensive patient assessments and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure effective recovery processes. Your contributions will be instrumental in maintaining high care standards for recovering patients right after surgery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate post-operative patients and document observations
• Implement nursing interventions as directed
• Liaise with various health care team members
• Organize patient care, delegating tasks to support staff
• Create a safe and healing environment
Requirements:
• Graduate from a recognized nursing program
• Registration in good standing with BCCNM
• One year of relevant clinical experience preferred
• Skillful in intravenous therapy
• Ability to address emergency situations
