Director Quality at StandardAero

Become the Director of Quality at Standard Aero in Langley, BC, leading quality assurance and compliance in the aviation industry. Drive continuous improvement initiatives while managing the Quality Management System ensuring safety and operational excellence.

In this pivotal role, you will report to the General Manager and collaborate with the Vice President of Engineering & Quality. You will oversee quality functions within AMO and manufacturing, ensure adherence to safety regulations, and maintain open quality channels between customers and regulatory bodies. Your expertise will guide product integrity and performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct the Quality function for aviation repair and manufacturing

• Be the TCCA-authorized Person Responsible for Maintenance

• Develop and sustain the Quality Management System

• Oversee internal and external audits and corrective actions

• Cultivate a proactive safety culture throughout the organization

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline

• Minimum 10 years of aviation experience

• 5+ years leading quality or safety initiatives

• Experience with aviation regulations and compliance audits

• Must be authorized to work in Canada
