2. This role is essential for managing quality assurance and documentation on a significant MoTI project in Abbotsford, BC.
Reporting to the Construction Planning & Quality Manager, you will support the Quality Management System by coordinating materials testing, ensuring compliance, and maintaining thorough documentation. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be crucial in managing quality standards throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate on-site testing and inspections as required
• Analyze material test results for compliance with standards
• Ensure all relevant certifications and reports are adequately filed
• Maintain daily logs and other quality records diligently
• Assist in the preparation of quality reports for stakeholders
Requirements:
• 5+ years of relevant quality control experience
• Civil engineering or related technical education beneficial
• Competency in Microsoft Office for documentation tasks
• Class 5 driver’s licence necessary for on-site duties
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication
