Position: John Deere Environmental Health Specialist

In this position, you will support John Deere's manufacturing team by managing health, safety, and environmental initiatives.

Your role encompasses conducting safety audits, compliance management, and fostering a safety-first culture. You will also oversee incident investigations and health training programs to enhance workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Health, Safety, Environmental and Ergonomics initiatives

• Ensure compliance with Work Safe BC and internal policies

• Administer Work Safe BC claims and return-to-work programs

• Investigate incidents and implement corrective measures

• Coordinate Joint Health & Safety Committee activities

Requirements:

• 5+ years in safety audits and workplace inspections

• Strong communication skills with all organizational levels

• Experience in analyzing safety metrics for improvement

• Knowledge of occupational safety regulations

• BA/MA in Occupational Health, Safety or related field
