The Institute for Sustainable Horticulture is seeking Research Assistants to work on innovative projects, including microbial biocontrol and soil health studies. This role is suitable for students or recent graduates interested in horticulture or plant health. Candidates will engage in lab trials, greenhouse maintenance, and data collection while supporting various research projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct greenhouse plant trials with biostimulants and biocontrols
• Perform laboratory experiments with beneficial microbes
• Maintain greenhouse crops and provide general support
• Collect and process soil samples
• Assist with field trials at off-site locations
Requirements:
• Horticulture Diploma or Plant Health Degree preferred
• Strong attention to detail in repeated tasks
• Willingness to travel between locations as needed
• Ability to analyze data and support research efforts
• Interest in biocontrol and horticulture advancements
