Elevate the garden shopping experience as a Seasonal Lead Merchandiser at our Outdoor Garden Centre. This role starts in early April and runs through June, focusing on leadership and customer engagement.
You will be responsible for leading a team to achieve high merchandising standards and supporting effective inventory management. Train team members on essential plant care and merchandising techniques, while also monitoring stock levels and customer displays. Beyond leadership, your role involves resolving customer queries with enthusiasm and sharing gardening expertise to enhance their shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support a seasonal team of merchandisers
- Create engaging, customer-focused product displays
- Efficiently handle current inventory deliveries
- Maintain product quality and presentation
- Facilitate customer interactions with expertise
- Minimum 2 years’ team leadership experience
- Previous merchandising experience, ideally in garden goods
- Capability to handle physically demanding tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Passionate about gardening and outdoor activities
