Otter Co-op is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Deli Associate to join our Retail Centre team. In this role, you will engage with customers by answering their questions and preparing special orders while ensuring the deli area meets high standards of cleanliness and safety. Your work will play an essential part in displaying new items and promotions effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide responsive service and answer customer queries
• Recommend, package, and price various meats and cheeses
• Prepare and arrange party trays as requested
• Keep deli displays and cases updated
• Follow sanitation procedures to maintain a clean environment
Requirements:
• Previous deli or food prep experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift items between 25 to 50 lbs
• Understanding of food safety practices
• Availability for shifts seven days a week
